Jeffrey Wayne Harrelson: Ocean Isle Beach

1973 – 2024

     Jeffrey Wayne Harrelson of Ocean Isle Beach died Saturday, April 6, in McLeod Seacoast Medical Center, Little River. He was 51.

     Born March 3, 1973 in Jacksonville, he was the son of the late Robert Wayne Harrelson and Patricia Anne Edwards Harrelson.

     He is survived by his significant other, Amanda Janczak of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; aunts Barbara E. King (Ronald) of Loris, Judy E. Fowler (Danny) of Tabor City, Connie E. Jordan (Lynn) of Conway, Joyce Ann Brown of Trinity, Margaret Diane Arnold of Baltimore, Maryland, and Tommie Lynn Coltrane of Trinity.

     He is also survived by his extended family, Amanda’s parents, Phil & Theresa Mathieu of Tennessee and Mark Janczak of Illinois; brothers Wesley Mathieu (Michelle) and Frank Janczak (Jessica) of Illinois; sisters Natalie Chapman (Patrick) of Greenville, South Carolina, and Raelynn Janczak of Illinois; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and other family members that will miss him dearly.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Odell Edwards.

     A memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the chapel.
