Amelia Hope Higgins Price: Green Sea

1940 – 2024

     Amelia “Millie” Hope Higgins Price of Green Sea peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, comforted by the love of her family. She was 83.

     Born in Green Mountain, North Carolina, Amelia was the daughter of Lester and Maude Higgins.

     Millie leaves behind a legacy of love, including her spouse, Jerry Arnette of Green Sea; daughters Lori Clark of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania and Debbie Bosley of Hampstead, Maryland; brothers Frank Higgins of Manchester, Maryland and Donald Higgins of Green Mountain; and other extended family.

     She was predeceased by her parents; siblings R.C., Burnard, Paul, and Larry Higgins, Ailene Robinson, Delores Wagner, Catherine Yingling, and Hilda Robinson.

     A celebration of Millie’s life was planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel in Manchestrer, Maryland, interment following at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster, Maryland.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service.

     In lieu of traditional remembrances, contributions to the Wounded Warriors Project would be greatly appreciated, honoring Millie’s generous spirit.
