Willie Isra Buff Jr.: Mauldin

1935 – 2024

     Willie Isra Buff Jr. of Mauldin died Saturday, April 20, in St. Francis Hospital, Greenville, South Carolina. He was 88.

     Born in Maiden, he was the son of the late Willie Isra Buff and Ida Dameron Buff.

     He is survived by his wife, Ruthene Fowler Clemons Buff of Mauldin; two daughters, Kimberly B. Davis and Tracie B. Carpin (Victor) of Greenville, South Carolina; one step son, Gregory Lee Clemons of Tabor City; two brothers, Bobby Joe Buff and Ralph Buff; one sister, Pat Hight; and two grandchildren, Daniel R. Carpin of Greenville, South Carolina and Ashlee Brooke Clemons of Tabor City.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Buff and Ray Buff; and two sisters, Doris Whisnant and Colleen Boggs.

     Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
