Deborah Ann Soles: Tabor City
1950 – 2024
Deborah Ann Soles of Tabor City passed away on Monday May 6, in the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center surround by her family. She was 73.
She was born May 14, 1950 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Annie Blake Wright and the late Doctor Franklin “Cedo” Wright.
Deborah married the love of her life, Michael Wayne Soles, on Aug. 17,1969. She had a love for people and plants. You could find her chatting with friends or tending the flowers in her yard on pretty days. She was a lifelong member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Michael Wayne Soles of the home; two daughters, Gina Browning (Bryan) of Loris and Deanna Norris (David) of Whiteville; five grandchildren, Layla Browning (Nick Wass) of Dallas, Texas, Trey Browning (Jill Ulloa) of Loris, Laken Hammond (John Powell) of Timberlake, Brooke Murray (Greg) of Youngstown, Ohio, Conner Norris of Whiteville; two great granddaughters, Paislee Powell and Matilda Murray; a brother, Douglas Wright of Florence; special sisters-in-law Sue Wright of Loris and Marcia Anderson (Shorty) of Tabor City; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Jean Kelly; five brothers; Cecil Wright, Dolan Wright, Deke Wright, Rossie Wright, and Rex Wright.
Her funeral service was planned for 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Forest Lawn Baptist Church with Rev. Bradley Tatum officiating, burial following in the Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery, Loris.
Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding the service at the church.
