Nolan Coltan Phillips, III: Nakina

1960 – 2024

     Nolan Coltan “Tiger” Phillips, III of Nakina died Friday, May 17, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was 63.

     Born Oct. 16, 1960 in Myrtle Beach, he was the son of the late Nolan Coltan, Jr. and Betty Long Phillips.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Phillips; and a sister, Shirley Phillips.

     He is survived by a daughter, Heather Phillips of Nakina; one brother, Lester Phillips of Ash; two sisters, Linda Phillips of Ash and Wanda McMurray of New York; five grandchildren; and special friend.

     A memorial service was planned for noon Saturday, May 26 in the Fellowship Hall at Lebanon Methodist Church.
