Terry Wayne Faulk: Conway
1960 – 2024
Terry Wayne Faulk of Conway passed away on Thursday, May 16, at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was 64.
Born March 1, 1960 in Loris, he was the son of the late Noie Carson Faulk and the late Cordelia Hilbourn Faulk.
He served his country with honor and integrity as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army for more than 13 years. He served during the Persian Gulf War and had many medals and decorations including: Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Qualification Badge, M-16 Rifle Badge, and Driver and Mechanic Badge.
Following his extensive military career, he worked for C.L. Benton & Sons, Inc. beginning in 2002 where he loved running his bulldozer.
Above all else, his favorite role and title was Papa.
Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Susie Faulk; his son, Jason Faulk, his daughter, Priscilla Mclean and husband Roger Mclean; five grandchildren, Landon Faulk and wife Julia, Dylan Faulk, Kelsey Faulk, Makayla McLean, and Krista McLean; three great-grandchildren, Landon Chadwick, Luke Faulk, and Maylee Faulk; his brother, David Faulk; six sisters, Barbara Stocks, Shirley Allison, Kathy Soles, Bonnie Galloway, Angie Faulk, and Patricia Buchanan.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Faulk was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Faulk; and three sisters, Judy Fowler, Sue Soles, and Lisa Cartrette.
A celebration of life is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at 217 Cottage Creek Circle, Conway.
