Michael “Shane” Todd of Princeton, West Virginia, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 29, in Narrows, Virginia. He was 52.
Born Sept. 14, 1971, in Horry County, he was the son of Johnny Todd and Hattie Norris Todd of Conway. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from October 1992 through October 1996. He later made a career as a truck driver.
He was a devoted father with a kind, loving heart. He loved his family, both immediate and extended. Some of his greatest times were growing up with his cousins. His first greatest love was his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and second to that was his two sons.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Micah John Todd and Luke Bryan Todd both of Princeton, West Virginia; a sister, Stephanie Todd Godbolt (Ted) of Aynor; nieces Harlie Lawson, Lily Todd, Oaklyn Best; a nephew, Stephen Todd; and girlfriend Myra Mullins of Tazewell, Virginia.
He was predeceased by grandparents, Cliff Todd and Louise Smith Todd, Archie Norris and Zellie Nobles Norris.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the chapel.
