Amanda Carol Nealy: Whiteville

1979 – 2024

     Amanda Carol Nealy of Whiteville died Thursday, June 27, in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System. She was 44.

     Born Oct. 6, 1979, in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Clewis and Jerry Leonard Clewis.

     Survivors include three daughters, Mahalie Byrd of Myrtle Beach, Brittany Nichole Nealy and Alexandria Elliott of Whiteville; a son, William Phillips of Chadbourn; one brother, Steele Jones of Chadbourn; and a sister, Brandi Jones of Tabor City.

     A memorial service was planned for 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. That service was previously planned for earlier in the day,  and rescheduled.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the chapel.
