Robert Henry Thomas: Loris

1934 – 2024

     Robert Henry Thomas of Loris passed away on Sept. 5 at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. He was 90.

     Born July 16, 1934, in Loris, he was the son of the late Luther Adrian Thomas and the late Rosie Hodge Thomas.

     Survivors include his two stepsons, Thomas Austin Shuler and Richard Darrell Shuler; a brother, Rev. Ernest Thomas; and many loving extended family and close church friends.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Helen Frances Holder Shuler Thomas; and three brothers, Douglas Thomas, Jack Thomas, and Fred W. Thomas.

     Memorial services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Live Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Hughes officiating.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services at the church.

     Family requests that memorials be made to Live Oak Baptist Church, 1080 Live Oak Church Road, Loris, SC 29569.
