James E. Aull: Tabor City
1939 – 2024
James E. “Jim” Aull of Tabor City passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, Sept. 19. He was 85.
Born in Akron, Ohio, on May 27, 1939, he was the son of the late Evans and Carolee Aull of Batesburg-Leesville.
Survivors include his loving and devoted significant other, Betty Todd; sons James “Eric” Aull (Deanna) and Michael J. Aull (Linda); a daughter, Amy Aull Hubbell (Darrin); grandchildren Alex, Blake, Collin, Ashley, Brett, Courtney, Tesla, Evan, Rylee, and Jake; stepchildren Cary Porter, Dana Buffkin, Christy Vansant; along with special extended family, Jami Lewis, John Lewis and their children John Morgan and Ireland Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Carol Terry.
A proud veteran and protector, Jim served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Jim will forever be remembered as a wonderful man with a good head and good heart. He was a simple soul who made such a major difference in the lives of others.
