Gene Sarah Hedgepeth: Asheville

1953 – 2024

     G. Sarah Hedgepeth of Asheville passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 12. She was 71.

     She was born Sept. 13, 1953 to the late Gene and Muriel Hedgepeth.

     Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Warren Hedgepeth. She is survived by her loving family and friends.

     A celebration of her life was planned for 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Olyphic Baptist Church, Tabor City.

     In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to a charity of choice to support the relief efforts in Western NC in Sarah’s memory.
