Billy Wayne Nealey: Tabor City

1944 – 2024

     Billy Wayne Nealey of Tabor City died Wednesday, Oct. 30, in McLeod Loris hospital, Loris. He was 79.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Hubert and Hazel Watts Nealey.

     He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam.

     He is survived by his wife, Betty Williamson Nealey of the home; one son, Dwayne Nealey and wife Jamie of Tabor City; a daughter, Donna Nealey Breedlove and Shawn of Wilmington; two sisters, Frances Moore of North Myrtle Beach and Rachel Thomas of Green Sea; four grandchildren, Ryan Nealey and wife Taylor, Loren Breedlove Cervantes and husband Chris, Mason Nealey and Mackenzie Breedlove; and one great-granddaughter, Delaney Nealey.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Stevens and Linda Blackwell.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
