William Charles Dudney: Tabor City

1957 – 2024

     William Charles Dudney of Tabor City died Thursday, Nov. 7, in his home. He was 66.

     Born Dec. 1, 1957 in Thomasville, he is the son of the late Honoree Dudney and Vera Mae Norris Dudney.

     He is survived by his wife, Angela T. Dudney of the home; two sons, Bobby Dudney and wife Stephanie of Whiteville and Shannon Dudney and wife Anya of Tabor City; a brother, Fletcher Dudney of Germantown; three sisters, Janet Merritt of Carolina Forest, JoAnn Gaskin of Franklin, Virginia, and Wendy Cook of Ocean Isle Beach; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and K-9 companion Coco.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in Myrtle Green Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
