Wyvonia Mishoe Kinard: Loris

1943 – 2024

     Wyvonia Mishoe Kinard of Loris passed away on Nov. 6 at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 81.

     Born Oct. 27, 1943, in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Mishoe and the late Mae Hardee Mishoe.

     Mrs. Kinard was a longtime active member at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. Some of her passions were reading and crocheting. She will be most remembered for her tremendous love and devotion to her family, church family, and community.

     Survivors include her sister, Edwana Todd; grandchildren Edward “Charlie” Kinard III and Brooke Kinard; great-grandson Ronnie Parenteau; and her many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kinard was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Charles Kinard, Sr.; a son, Edward “Eddie” Kinard, Jr.; one daughter, Lanett Kinard-Hovde; son-in-law Scott Hovde; and her two brothers, John H. Mishoe and Charles Mishoe.

     Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Price, Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook, and Rev. Jeremy Todd officiating. Committal services followed at Cherry Hill Cemetery.
