Danny Ray Martin: Evergreen

1955 – 2024

     Danny Ray Martin of Evergreen died Monday, Nov. 18, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. He was 69.

     Born in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Edward Martin Jr. and Mary Troy.

     He is survived by his wife, Shelly North Martin of the home; three brothers, David Martin of Jacksonville, John Edward Martin of Smithville, Virginia, and James Allen Martin of Tampa, Florida; a sister, Kelly Martin Canty of Fayetteville; step daughter Kerry Collins of Lewistown, Pennsylvania; step son Daniel Ritter of Lewistown, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter; and one great great granddaughter.

     Memorial services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472
