Norma Lee Fowler Pressley: Loris

1940 – 2024

     Norma Lee Fowler Pressley of Loris passed away on Dec. 6, at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 84.

     Born Oct. 6, 1940, in Tabor City, she was the daughter of the late Norman Fowler and the late Lottie Graves Fowler.

     Survivors include her three children, Cassandra Hinkley (Marc), Curtis Pressley (Dino), and Rebecca Lehman (Dan); brothers Dean Fowler (Jenny), Foster Fowler (Pam), and Sterling Fowler; sisters Gwen Hock (Harold), Yvonne Strickland, and Priscilla Phillips; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pressley was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Pressley; a brother, Reginald Fowler; and a grandson, Tyler Joseph Pressley.

     Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, 901 Aiken Road, in Asheville.

     Family planned to receive friends following the services.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd Ste 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
