Dale Causey: Loris

1955 – 2024

     Dale Causey of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at McLeod Seacoast hospital in Little River. He was 69.

     Mr. Causey was born April 24, 1955 in Loris, a son of the late Olin Junior “O.J.” Causey and the late Flossie Lillian Carter Causey.

     Dale was a loving husband, father, brother, and a member of East Coast Pullers.

     Survivors include his wife, Donna C. Causey of the home; two sons, D.J. Causey and Gail Bowman of Loris and Tommy Dale Causey of Burlington; a step-daughter, Stacey Mullins and Doug of Clearbrook, Virginia; granddaughter Cara Carter; mother-in-law Elsie Carver; three brothers, Randy Causey and Louise, Wilbur Causey, and Paul Causey and Jean, all of Loris; his sister, Carolyn Page and John of Conway; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Causey was predeceased by his sister, Mary Causey Porter.

     Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Coastal Community Church in Conway with Pastor Tom Gordon officiating.
