Texford Ray Watts: Tabor City

1957 – 2025

     Texford Ray Watts of Tabor City died Monday Jan. 27, in his home. He was 67.

     Born in Lexington, he was the son of the late Sherwood and Effie Gray Watts.

     He is survived by one son, Danny R. Watts of Tabor City; a brother, Tony Cleveland Watts of Tabor City; four sisters, Annette Pruitt Lynn Walls and Deborah Phillips of Tabor City and Frances Gablehouse of Clarendon; and five grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Woody Watts; and two sisters, Sherry Nayle and Patricia Watts.

     There will be no services.
