Cynthia Lewis Spivey: Tabor City

1967 – 2025

     Cynthia “Cindy” Lewis Spivey of Tabor City died Tuesday, Feb. 4, in her home. She was 57.

     Born in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Johnny Lewis and Helen Irene Rigdon Soles.

     She is survived by her husband, Alan Spivey of Tabor City; a step-son, David Spivey and wife Sharon of Chadbourn; two step grandchildren, Skyla Mayo and husband Chris of Whiteville and Gracie Miller and husband Ashton of Clarendon; two great grandchildren, Elliana Mayo and Rhett Miller; two brothers, Steve Lewis and wife Abby of Asheboro and Gregory Lewis of Kissimmee, Florida.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mitchell Lewis.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     There will be no other services at this time.
