Anna Marie Grainger Thompkins: Conway

1953 – 2025

     Anna Marie Grainger Thompkins passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at her home in Conway. She was 71.

     Born June 8, 1953, in Conway, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Marion Grainger and the late Anna Marian Long Grainger.

     Survivors include her loving sons, Charles “Charlie” Grainger and Andrew Proctor; step-daughter Sunaco Thompkins; step-son Wendell Thompkins; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompkins was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Gene Thompkins; and two brothers, Kenny Grainger and Rusty Grainger.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cliff Mixon officiating, committal services following at Thompson Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at the funeral home.

     Family asks that memorials be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
