Barbara Lee Gibbons: Loris

1963 – 2025

     Barbara Lee Gibbons of Loris passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at McLeod Seacoast hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 61.

     Born July 23, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Hammer, Sr and the late Roselind DeVore Loudermilk.

     Survivors include her loving husband, Gerry Gibbons; two daughters, Ashley Gillig and Rachel Peace; a sister, Sharron Appel; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gibbons was predeceased by her brother, William Hammer, Jr; a sister, Debbie Anderson; and a niece.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date.

     Family requests memorials to be made to the Catholic Church of the Resurrection, 204 Heritage Rd., Loris, SC 29569.
