John Allen Singletary: Loris

1974 – 2025

     John Allen Singletary of Loris died Monday, March 31, in his home. He was 50.

     Born Aug. 1, 1974 in New Hanover County, he was the son of Theresa Hardee Singletary of Tabor City and the late John D. Singletary.

     In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tabitha Causey Singletary of the home; one daughter, Madelyn Frances Singletary of the of the home; a brother, Jason Singletary of Longs; one sister, Kayla Singletary of Tabor City; a nephew, Jason Singletary II (Ashley) of Loris; one niece, Victoria Mills (Kyle) of Tabor City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, in Macedonia Baptist Church, burial following the Hardee Cemetery.
