Oran Hugie Long Jr.: Loris

1965 – 2025

     Oran Hugie Long Jr. of Loris died Tuesday, April 15, surrounded by his family. He was 59.

     Born in New Hanover County, he was the son of Oran Hugie Long Sr. and Shirley Britt.

     In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Michael Oree Long of Whiteville; a daughter, Emily Goslin of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Timothy Long of Bunn and Ray Long of High Point; a special aunt, Linda O” Quinn of Loris; and four grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Long.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial to be held at a later date in Hardee Cemetery, Loris.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
