Linda Ward Bryant: Green Sea

1954 – 2025

     Linda Ward Bryant of Green Sea passed away on Thursday, April 17, in her sister’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.

     Born Aug. 17, 1954 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Junior Ward and Evelyn Thomas Long Ward.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Carlisle Bryant.

     She is survived by her children, Wendy Fowler Parnell (Donald) of Nakina, Tabitha Lynn Grice (Jamie) of Whiteville, and Ethan C. Scott of Green Sea; siblings Dale Ward of Whiteville, Chris Ward of Green Sea, Teresa Suggs of Loris, Cindy King of Ash, and Tammy Black of Green Sea; grandchildren D.J. Whitehead, Kayla Wright, Whiteney Patrick, and Sebastine Grice; great grandchild, Sadie Grace Calhan; step grandchildren Brandell Parnell and Cammi Parnell; and special companion Michael Causey.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, in the Green Sea Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
