James Royce Best: Mount Holly

1948 – 2025

     James “Jimmy” Royce Best of Mount Holly died Wednesday, May 7, in the CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was 76.

     Born Oct. 24, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia, he was the son of the late John R. Best and Mable Spivey Best.

     He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

     He is survived by several cousins.

     Graveside services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, May 12, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
