Marshall William Mund: Loris

1945 – 2025

     Marshall William Mund of Loris passed away on Wednesday, May 14, at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach. He was 79.

     Born Oct. 13, 1945, in Reed City, Michigan, he was the son of the late Vernon Harry Ralph Mund and the late Mary Elizabeth Graboski Mund.

     Mr. Mund was one of 13 children raised on a farm in Michigan. He worked as a carpenter and a long distance truck driver before his retirement.

     Survivors include his daughter, Anita L. Roberts; step-daughters Kathy Powell, Tammy Ray (Jon) and Penny Buffkin; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Mund was predeceased by his son, Roger Allen Mund; and two daughters, Angela Sue Mund and Susan M. Runnels.

     A memorial visitation was held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Mr. Mund’s home.

     Family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
