Gene Evans Mishoe: Loris

1970 – 2025

     Gene Evans Mishoe of Loris died Monday, April 7, along with his wife, Jennifer Cordelia Gore Mishoe. He was 55.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Memory Gene Mishoe and Louise Stroud Mishoe.

     He is survived by his son, Justin Dewayne Mishoe (Cassandra) of Loris; one brother, Freddie Gene Mishoe; four sisters, Loretta Davis of Myrtle Beach, Susie Edwards of Aynor, Kathy Elmore of Conway, and Mary Ann Horne of Charleston; and two grandchildren, Christopher Scott Gene Mishoe and Jefferey Dewayne Ray Mishoe.

     He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Gene Mishoe.

     A graveside memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, in Princeville Cemetery, Loris.

     Family planned to receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
