Betty Ann Grainger Buck: Tabor City

1940 – 2025

     Betty Ann Grainger Buck of the Pireway Community, Tabor City, died Thursday, June 12, 2025 in her home. She was 84.

     She was born Aug. 6, 1940 in Columbus County.

     She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Buck Powell of Tabor City; a son, Randy Buck of Tabor City; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Buck; a sister, Louise Grainger Cox; and a grandson.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, in Pireway Original Free Will Baptist Church, burial following in Jacobs Cemetery, Seven Creeks Hwy, Tabor City.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the church.
