Diane Elaine Brigman McPherson: Chadbourn

1950 – 2025

     Diane Elaine Brigman McPherson of the Beaverdam Community, Chadbourn, died Friday, June 27, in Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Boliva. She was 75.

     Born in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Asper Vernon Brigman and Joyce Ellen Ward Brigman.

     She is survived by her husband, Darrell McPherson of the home; three children, Traci Cartrette of Whiteville, Jeremy Collins of Hallsboro, Jason McPherson of Chadbourn; four siblings Vernon Brigman, Ward Brigman, Brenda Eddy and Renee Davis all of Lumberton; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, June 30, in Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church, burial following in McPherson Cemetery, Chadbourn.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the church.
