Herbert Orvin Graham: Loris
1952 – 2025
Herbert Orvin Graham of Loris passed away on Aug. 5. He was 72.
Mr. Graham was born in Marion, the son of the late William H. Graham and the late Esther Lou Graham. In his earlier years, he was deeply rooted in the Loris community, where he owned and operated Dixie Embroidery and Screen printing business for many years downtown.
Outside of work, Mr. Graham devoted much of his time to his family. He enjoyed coaching baseball, cooking, gathering around the kitchen table for good conversations, and listening to the details of everyone’s day.
After retiring and selling his business, he and his wife, Joyce, spent several years in traveling sales. This allowed them to visit many places, enjoy wonderful food, and explore countless local antique stores—activities he truly loved.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Joyce Graham; his children, Cole Graham (Kelly) and Jennifer Bullard (Bryan); five grandchildren, Manning Graham, Tess Graham, Matt Bullard, Ben Bullard, and Kate Bullard; stepson Allen Sammons; three step-grandchildren, India Sammons, Cody Sammons, and Eli Sammons; and two brothers, Randall Graham (Diane) and Dewayne Graham (Janice).
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at Hardwick Funeral Home with Phyllis Elvington officiating.
Family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
