Vera Hilburn Piver of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, in her home with family by her side. She was 91.
Born Dec. 9, 1934 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Vance Hilburn and Nellie Fowler Hilburn.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Piver (Patti), Bill Piver (Stacie), Remona Ward, Ann Diedrich (Tim), and Ila Johnson (Russell); grandchildren Jenny, John (Carole), Danielle, Taylor, Brandi (Caz), Steve (Melissa), Krystal (Brandon), Rita (Adam), Rachael (Jeremy), Amanda, siblings, Brice Hilburn, Henry Hilburn, Leon Hilburn, Dale Hilburn, and Pearl Matthews; and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Piver; granddaughter, Catherine “Cati” Ann Boyter; and siblings, Luetta Penny, Herman Hilburn, Gertie Spivey, and Eva Cox.

Funeral services were planned for noon Monday, Dec. 29, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in the Oak Dale Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the chapel.
