Glen Hopkins Ray: Conway

1943 – 2025

     Glen Hopkins Ray of Conway passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at his home. He was 82.

     Born Feb. 22, 1943, in Conway, he was the son of the late Rev. Preston Leroy Ray and the late Fannie Gerrald Ray.

     Survivors include his son, Nicholas G. Ray; longtime companion Joann A. Crenshaw, and her children; brothers Rev. Wendell Gerald Ray and Larry Ray; a sister, Tinny Florene Paul; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who he adored.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray was predeceased by his brothers, Jack Ray, and Billy Ray; a sister, Johnnie Jean Redmond; and Joann’s daughter, Kelly M. Crenshaw.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
