Ellen Holley Rankin Stevens: Loris

1958 – 2026

     Ellen Holley Rankin Stevens of Loris passed away on Thursday, Jan. 22, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 67.

     Born Feb. 22, 1958, in Conway, she was the daughter of the late Watson Smith Rankin and the late Margaret Emeline Jones Rankin.

     Survivors include her husband, Larry Stevens; a son, John Watson Rankin; a sister, Julia Rankin Hardwick; and three grandchildren.

     Memorial services were planned for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Mark Stevens officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at the funeral home.

     In accordance with her wishes, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made through donations of clear backpacks and school supplies, continuing her lifelong commitment to children and learning.
