Fred Randall Buck: Tabor City

1965 – 2026

     Fred Randall “Randy” Buck of Tabor City passed away on Monday, Feb. 2, in McLeod Seacoast hospital in Little River. He was 60.

     Born Aug. 27, 1965 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Fred Buck and Betty Ann Grainger Buck.

     Randy was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He had a big compassionate heart for others. He was a member of Olyphic Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for three years. He was employed by Shallotte Electric for 18 years as General Manager.

     He is survived by his wife, Tamika “Tammy” Bullard Buck of the home; children Fred Randall “Bucky” Buck II (Natalie) of Tabor City, Miranda Beck (Steven) of Tabor City, Corey Randall Buck (Amanda) of Supply, and Helen Buck of Tabor City; nine grandchildren, Fred Randall Buck III, Allyson Michelle Buck, Brynlee Noel Buck, Kealyn Reese Beck, Sadie Rae Beck, Dalton Lane Beck, Liam Phoenix Buck, Kylie Sue Buck, Aubrie Lynn McPherson; a sister, Sheila Buck Powell (Darrell) of Tabor City; special niece Stephanie Powell (Justin); a great nephew, Austin Fisher; and a great niece, Stella Fisher.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a beloved nephew, Kevin D. Powell.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Jacobs Cemetery, Seven Creeks Hwy, Tabor City.
