Dennis Larry Scott: Tabor City

1954 – 2026

     Dennis Larry Scott of Tabor City died Friday morning March 20, in his home. He was 71.

     Born Aug. 16, 1954 in Beckley, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Freeland Clarence Scott and Louella Treadway Scott.

     He retired from the United States Air Force.

     He is survived by his wife, Deanna Harrison Scott of the home; one daughter, Desiree Scott of Myrtle Beach; a son, Derek Scott of Myrtle Beach; one brother, Donald Scott of Yadkinville; two sisters, Barbara Reynolds and Teresa Wiggins both of Florida; and two grandchildren.

     A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
