Ila Hodges Lilly: Green Sea

1937 – 2026

     Ila Hodges Lilly of Green Sea passed away on Wednesday, April 8, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88.

     Born Dec. 3, 1937, in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wade Hodges and Cordelia Fowler Hodges.

     She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lilly Doyle (John) of Green Sea; one granddaughter, Victoria Todd Harper (Sam); and three great grandchildren, Levi Singler, Drake Harper and Bryson Lewis.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kim Lilly; a brother, Jerry Hodges; one sister, Carolyn Hilburn; one granddaughter, Bethany Todd; and one great grandchild Brindleigh Lewis.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Forest Lawn Baptist Church Family Life Building.

     A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
