Sharon Edwards Jernigan: Tabor City

1962 – 2026

     Sharon Edwards Jernigan of Tabor City passed away on Wednesday, April 15, in her home. She was 64.

     Born Feb. 23, 1962 in High Point, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Howard Edwards and Mary Ward Edwards.

     She is survived by one sister, April E. Taylor (Shane) of Garner; a niece and nephew, Kamryn Shaye Taylor and James Thomas “J.T.” Taylor, both of Garner.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Lennox Jernigan.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
