Ronald Erwin LaValle: Loris

1944 – 2023

     Ronald Erwin LaValle of Loris died Friday, Aug. 11, in his home. He was 79.

     Born Feb. 4, 1944 in Austin, Texas, he was the son of the late William Pearl LaValle and Mildred Agnes Stanczak Lavalle.

     He is survived by his wife, Clara Nealy LaValle; one son, Ronald LaValle of Raleigh; a daughter, Charlene LaValle of Conway; one brother, Robert LaValle of Edgemoore; two sisters, Marie Nuckles of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania and Hope Ann Banford of New York; three grandchildren; and three step children, Teddy Fipps of Loris, Kent Bitting of Conway, and Russell Cox of Florida.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, in Trinity Original Free Will Baptist Church, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
