Linda Darnell Jennings Nealy: Loris

1946 – 2024

     Linda Darnell Jennings Nealy of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at her home following an illness. She was 78.

     Born Jan. 4, 1946 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Marion Jennings and the late Donnie Bishop Jennings.

     Mrs. Nealy worked as a nurse until her retirement, was a loving homemaker, and of the Baptist faith.

     Survivors include her daughter, Linda Abigail Taylor (Chris); two grandchildren, Bradley Paul Porter, Sr. and Alisha Lee Sims (Kurt); great-grandson Bradley Paul Porter, Jr.; three sisters, Hazel Hiott (Arthur Lee), Shirley Ann Hunt, and Nancy Blanton; a special friend, Michael Stanford Mishoe; nieces and nephews, Donna Faye Beal, Charlene Ripple, Destiny Sims, Tonya Hiott, Andy Blanton, Jennifer Blanton Bates, Robert “Dink” Hunt, Tony Hunt, and Kenneth Hunt.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nealy was predeceased by her husband, Donald Paul Nealy; and two sisters, Alice Faye Beal and Margaret Jennings.

     Private memorial services were planned.
