Jeanette Phipps Rentz: Loris

1941 – 2024

     Jeanette Phipps Rentz of Loris passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10. She was 82.

     Born Dec. 15, 1941, in Loris, she was the daughter of the late Robert Colon Phipps, Sr. and the late Martha Causey Phipps.

     Ms. Rentz was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

     Survivors include her nephew, Randall C. Phipps (Ann); two nieces, Gina Phipps Anderson (Jody) and Robbie Ash Munden (Michael); great-nieces and nephews Christopher C. Phipps (Danielle), Madison J. Franco (Seth), and Reid C. Phipps (Mattie); great-great-nieces and nephews Cayson C. Phipps, Sawyer K. Franco, Leo M. Franco, C. Nolan Phipps, and Emma Katherine Phipps.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Colon Phipps, Jr.; and a special niece, Lisa A. Phipps.

     Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Holly Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating.
