Frances Bowker Jennings: Loris

1926 – 2024

     Frances Bowker Jennings of Loris passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14. She was 97.

     Born Dec. 16, 1926, in Lumberton, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Bowker and the late Bertha Bowker.

     Mrs. Jennings was a seamstress and loved to sew, crochet, and knit.

     Survivors include her five children, Paul S. Jennings, Susan Fay Hyatt, Carolyn Shelley, Paulette Reichart (John), and Barbie Walters; and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Warren Paul Jennings.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dr. Tim Osment officiating. Private committal services were planned.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the chapel.
