Jerry Dale Cartrette: Clarendon

1950 – 2024

     Jerry Dale Cartrette of the Mollie Community, Clarendon, passed away on Sunday, May 5. He was 73.

     Born July 15, 1950 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late J.D. Cartrette and Sarah Ann Watts (Leo).

     He is survived by two daughters, Kristy Cartrette of Columbia, North Carolina, and Heidi Cartrette of Garland; a son, Jerry Shannon “Shan” Cartrette of Mollie; one brother, Larry Cartrette of Clarendon; two grandsons; four granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, with family at other times receiving friends at the home of his brother, Larry Cartrette, at 5889 Lebanon Church Road, Clarendon.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, in Watts Cemetery.
