Charles Cooper: Conway

1944 – 2024

     Charles Cooper of Conway, died Sunday, June 23, in his home. He was 79.

     Born Aug. 27, 1944, in Horry County, he was the son of the late Willie M. Cooper and Mary Sue Sarvis Cooper.

     He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

     Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Turbeville Cooper of Conway; two sons, James “Mac” M. Cooper and Charles “Chuck” M. Cooper of Conway; two daughters, Nicole Stiff (David) of Fayetteville and Tammy Cooper of Myrtle Beach; and a sister, Pat West of Conway.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James E. Cooper and John Cooper.
