Mildred Christine Strickland: Tabor City

1946 – 2024

     Mildred Christine Strickland of Tabor City died on Thursday, June 27, in MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. She was 77.

     Born Nov. 18, 1946 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Barcie Williamson and Smithie Godwin Williamson.

     Survivors include her husband, Vernon Strickland of Tabor City; a sister, Betty Williamson Nealey (Billy) of Tabor City; and a great-niece.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. Williamson, Braxton Williamson: and a sister, Marie Mincey.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, in Forest Lawn Baptist Church, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
