William Joseph “Joey” Blackwell: Loris

1979 – 2024

     William Joseph “Joey” Blackwell of Loris died Saturday, June 29, in McLeod Loris hospital, Loris. He was 44.

     Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, he was the son of William Thomas Blackwell and Sandra Osborne Foote.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Timmothy Mishoe of Loris; a one brother, TJ Blackwell of Boomer, West Virginia; three sisters, Amanda Lee Simmons of Blackstone, Virginia, Katherine Foote of Victoria, Virginia, and Devin Foote of Crewe, Virginia.

     He was preceded in death by one sister, Madelynn Huebner; and a brother, Michael Foote.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date in Virginia.
