Herbert Fulton Elliott Jr.: Nichols

1959 – 2024

     Herbert Fulton Elliott Jr. of Nichols passed away on June 30 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. He was 64.

     Born Aug. 4, 1959, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he was the son of the late Herbert Fulton Elliott, Sr. and the late Alice Gause Elliott.

     Mr. Elliott worked as a carpenter and diesel mechanic for most of his life.

     Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mrs. Sophia Elliott; sons Adam Elliott, Herbert “Herbie” Elliott III, Darryl Elliott, and Dewayne Elliott; a daughter, Shannon Elliott; three grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, and Olivia, and sisters, Sara Nehls, and Sandy Keith (Jerry).

     Memorial services will be private.
