John Kevin Grainger: Green Sea

1968 – 2024

     John Kevin Grainger of Green Sea died Tuesday, July 9, in MUSC Charleston. He was 55.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son of Dale Grainger and Kaye Gore Grainger.

     In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Natalie Gore Grainger of the home; one son, Connor Grainger (Kaylee) of Green Sea; two daughters, Kourtney Strickland (Chase) and Tori Grainger and fiancé David Lowe of Green Sea; two grandchildren, Maylee Joan Strickland and Waylon Kai Lowe; mother-in law Barbara Gore of Tabor City; three aunts, Bonnie Wright of Tabor City, Bonnie Faye Duncan of Myrtle Beach, Betty Gore of Charleston; and one uncle, John Grainger (Wanda) of Green Sea.

     Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 11, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, July 12, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Carolina Cemetery, Green Sea.
