Andrew Brooks Norris: Tabor City

1956 – 2024

     Andrew Brooks Norris of Tabor City, better known as Brooks, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, in his home. He was 68.

     Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late JD Norris and Mary Elizabeth Hardwick Norris.

     He is survived by two brothers, Jimmy Norris of Tabor City and Johnny Norris of Whiteville; four sisters, Margaret Ann LeClair of High Point, Carolyn Sellers of Whiteville, Faye Fowler of Wilmington, and Linda Gore of Clarendon; one nephew, Jason Norris; and one niece, Renee Hinson.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Hallie Norris; and a sister, Pamela Renee Norris.

     Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Visitation was planned to follow the service at the cemetery.
