Larry Wayne Cribb: Clarendon

1942 – 2024

     Larry Wayne Cribb of Clarendon died Friday, Dec. 20, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 82.

     Born in New Hanover County, he was the son of the late William Carson “WC” Cribb and Edna Francis Jernigan Cribb.

     He was Past Master of Tabor Lodge 563.

     He is survived by his wife, Shelia Cribb of the home; a daughter, Lynne Edwards (Allen) of Whiteville; one son, Marcus Wayne Cribb (Bambi) of Clarendon; five grandchildren, Lauren Edwards, Jordan Canady (Will), Hanna Ward (Grayson), Marcus Wayne Cribb II and Emma Cribb; one great-grandchild, Asher Wayne Ward; two aunts, Hulda Basista and Mona Faye Cribb.

     In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, JL Cribb.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Ronnie Wilson, burial with Masonic rites following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the chapel.
