Ervin William Wade, Jr.: Loris

1946 – 2025

     Ervin William Wade, Jr. of Loris passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 78.

     Born July 16, 1946, in Conway, he was the son of the late Ervin William Wade, Sr. and the late Idell Piver Wade.

     Mr. Wade was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Mrs. Willaree Long Wade; and many loving friends, neighbors, and extended family.

     In addition to his parents, Mr. Wade predeceased by his brother, Curtis Lee Wade, Sr.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mack Hutson and Rev. Marshall Russell officiating, committal services following at Hardee Cemetery.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services at Hardwick Funeral Home.
